Hello! Welcome to the SurvivorForum!!! In accordance to the many requests received via AbuseConsultants.com, we have decided to create an additional means of online support for trauma survivors. Thank you, especially to those that have completed the surveys, spelling out the need for more therapeutic support and informed treatment. We’ve listened to you and hope that this forum is at least one more helpful option for you. The SurvivorForum is divided into two major sections – survivor support and therapeutic support. The survivor support section is free and available registered users / guests. The moderators are trustworthy but they are not professional counselors. They are dedicated to helping others and they have experienced many traumas themselves. The support section focuses on daily living issues, developing friendships, and simple non-triggering topics. The therapeutic support section is moderated and supervised by Kathy Broady, LCSW a licensed therapist that has over 25 years of clinical experience working with trauma survivors / DID, and is the Clinical Director of AbuseConsultants.com. In order to participate in this section of the forum, one must first get a therapeutic membership which requires a monthly fee. The therapeutic section of the forum is considered to be a type of group therapy, and focuses on specific treatment issues, specific therapy issues, and can involve direct interaction with many parts of your DID system. Please read the various Policies and Guidelines of the SurvivorForum for more detailed information about this clinical service. To become a member of the therapeutic section, you must first register as a guest of the survivor support section of the SurvivorForum. Once you have your username and password secured, you may then sign up for therapeutic membership. Click here to complete that process. You may also order this service through AbuseConsultants.com. Select the Forum Consultation option as listed in the left-hand column of the Services page within the Business Office of AbuseConsultants.com. Therapeutic memberships are $45 per month, based on $10 per week. Payments are accepted by credit card, e-check, or PayPal via the AbuseConsultants.com website.
